Blackie and Deb, circa 1964
East Wenatchee, WA
Scout started begging for a dog in the fourth grade and it was hard not to think of my childhood dog, "Blackie" and how much she meant to me. Scout’s first dog was Sunshine, a Sheltie, who started Scout in Junior Showmanship. At one show she had the opportunity to handle a Collie and our love of the Collie was born.
Entrance to Collie Field
We moved from Alaska to Wenatchee, WA in the spring of 2011. The large field below our home affords our collies a plush grass to run and play with plenty of sun and shade.
It wasn't long before we received
GCH Clarion Force of Nature "Leo" who would take us places we had not evened imagined. Though Leo never sired a litter, he bred a lifelong love of Collies in the hearts of our entire family.
